One of the leading filmmakers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, David Maddox has been making magic behind the camera for more than two decades as a writer, director, producer, and editor.

He is the owner of IdeaMan Studios, which has produced Commercial, Corporate, and Indie Film content since last millennium. 

In addition to helping others realize their vision, including producing the Sundance hit A Ghost Story, Maddox’s short film Alternative Math was one of only 140 films world-wide to qualify for a live-action short Academy Award in 2019. With millions of views, dozens of awards, and translations into multiple languages, it continues to confound viewers around the globe.

His latest film, Baby Proof, is set for wide release later this year.
